Do you find desktop widgets useful?

Hi there...I find desktop widgets extremely helpful. I rely heavily on many such as iSend to send text messages to employees cell phones, Local city government widgets to monitor local road and ferry commuter traffic, Gas Price Watch to locate the least expensive fuel wherever I'm located and Duo Core Temp to monitor my Macbook Pro's internal temp.
Reply:I use the Yahoo! Widgets on my laptop. I find the battery widget to be useful to me. And sometimes the Wi-Fi strength meter if I'm somewhere where the signal isn't that great.
Reply:I use Yahoo Widgets, specifically Gorgy Clock and Weather Widget.
Reply:i like the simon widget, it's an old 70's electronic game i had as a kid,, and i use the xm radio widget a lot.
Reply:I use the "Weather Network"s "Weather eye" I always no the temp outside and I can see the fourday forecast upon a click.
