Yahoo! Widgets problem?

i have installed fine... when i press f8 the things pop up as they should, but when i hit it again, only the background goes, the widgets are still there... i only want widgets to appear when i hit f8 and to 100% dissapear when i hit it again, is this possible in yahoo widgets? if not can you tell me what widget makers can do this?

F8 brings your Widgets forward. Unfortunately, due to how Windows' APIs are set up, the Widgets can't be sent back to the desktop level by the engine... So you're basically stuck with the current behavior, even in other widget engines, until Microsoft provides a better facility for manipulating window levels.





However, if you're working in a web browser, for example, clicking on the browser window after dismissing Heads Up Display will bring the browser window in front of your Widgets again.
Reply:you can have the 'dock' as auto hide (it only comes when you hover over it) or you could just close the widgets by hovering over them and then clicking close (X). To get the widgets back again just hover over the dock and click on each individual widget.
