i use yahoo widgets but i cant figure out how to get my friends avatar on my avatar and im starting to think it was a scam help

It's not a scam. Widgets are tiny programs that you keep running on your desktop to show interesting information or keep tools at your fingertips at all times.
If you want to add avatars to your desktop. this Widget does what you're looking for.
